We are pleased to announce that late breaking abstract submissions for TERMIS-AP 2026 are now open!
Have you generated new research, data or findings that you’d like to share? We encourage you to submit a late-breaking abstract for consideration for a poster presentation at the conference.
There’s no need to wait until the submission deadline to find out if your abstract has been accepted. Submissions will be reviewed regularly, with outcomes communicated within a few days of submission.
Our conference theme, Converging Cultures and Strategies in Translational Regenerative Medicine aims to bring together diverse cultures and world-leading regenerative medicine research from across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. The programme will provide a vibrant, inclusive forum to explore R&D innovations, scalability challenges, and the clinical and commercial translation of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine strategies.
Late-breaking abstract submissions close at 11:59pm NZST on Wednesday 30 September 2026.
If you submitted an abstract in the previous call, all notifications have already been sent to authors. If you have not received your notification email, please contact Amika Van den Broek amika@conference.nz
Please note: All abstract submitters, including presenting authors, are responsible for all costs associated with attending the conference e.g. registration fees, travel, and accommodation expenses. All registration fees are required to be paid in full prior to any attendance at the conference.
General information and requirements of submission
All abstract submissions should contain:
- Title: Choose a clear, on-point, concise title.
- Abstract body: The abstract text should be limited to 300 words.
- Offer a concise overview of the research problem, include essential definitions, and identify the gap that your study aims to address.
- State your primary research hypothesis clearly.
- Summarise the experimental approach and its significance in relation to your research question, avoiding detailed procedural descriptions.
- Provide a brief overview of key findings and trends, linking them to the research problem, and incorporating both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Discuss the significance of your results and their implications for the broader research topic or question.

- All abstract submissions must be submitted electronically in English, using the online submission portal.
- Late breaking abstracts can be submitted as a poster presentation only, no oral presentations.
- Submissions are invited under an overall theme, and/or symposium. Please click the button below to view all themes and symposia.
Terms and Conditions
If accepted, all TERMIS-AP 2026 presenters (and co-presenters) must register to attend the conference and are responsible for their own expenses (including but not limited to travel, transportation, accommodation and meals - except those provided as part of registration).
