Call for abstracts
We are excited to invite you to participate in the TERMIS-AP 2026 Conference, taking place in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Our conference theme, Converging Cultures and Strategies in Translational Regenerative Medicine aims to bring together diverse cultures and world-leading regenerative medicine research from across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. The programme will provide a vibrant, inclusive forum to explore R&D innovations, scalability challenges, and the clinical and commercial translation of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine strategies.
We warmly invite submissions not only of timely academic research findings but also insights from government officials, regulatory bodies, and industry professionals. Your contributions are vital to fostering the multifaceted discussions we seek to encourage at TERMIS-AP 2026. By incorporating perspectives from various sectors, we can more effectively tackle the complex challenges facing regenerative medicine. Your abstracts and presentations will significantly enrich the conference with real-world applications, regulatory insights, and innovative solutions from the industry. Your participation is crucial to this transformative journey as we collectively advance the field and make a meaningful impact on global healthcare.
Please note: All abstract submitters, including presenting authors, are responsible for all costs associated with attending the conference e.g. registration fees, travel, and accommodation expenses. All registration fees are required to be paid in full prior to any attendance at the conference.
General information and requirements of submission
All abstract submissions should contain:
- Title: Choose a clear, on-point, concise title.
- Abstract body: The abstract text should be limited to 300 words.
- Offer a concise overview of the research problem, include essential definitions, and identify the gap that your study aims to address.
- State your primary research hypothesis clearly.
- Summarise the experimental approach and its significance in relation to your research question, avoiding detailed procedural descriptions.
- Provide a brief overview of key findings and trends, linking them to the research problem, and incorporating both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Discuss the significance of your results and their implications for the broader research topic or question.

Terms and Conditions
If accepted, all TERMIS-AP 2026 presenters (and co-presenters) must register to attend the conference and are responsible for their own expenses (including but not limited to travel, transportation, accommodation and meals - except those provided as part of registration).
